"We spent very nice vacation days at Lake Como. The apartment is located in a house built into the mountain. Therefore, you have to climb some stairs to get to the apartment, but then you are rewarded by a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. We felt very comfortable."

We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. We enjoyed all the surrounding villages and restaurants and felt compelled to return to the villa just to relax and take in the views and sounds of birds and church bells. "Lovely and clean property! Good bedroom and bathroom facilities with a nice view from the bedroom balcony. Only a 28 minute walk from the centre or 5 minutes on the metro. Some nice bars and restaurants around the apartment. Only negative is that it is not made clear that you will be sharing the house with the owner and their dog. However this did not affect us and was not disruptive in any way the dog is very cute :) "

"Our stay was for 5 days with my spouse and 3 sons (all 18+) and son-in-law. Property was big enough for 6 of us adults with a lot of beautiful windows for cooling down the apartment. It didn't help there was a major heat wave in Italy the time we were staying but the property mgr brought us an additional 2 fans to help as apt is without a/c. "Superb! This property was our 3rd at Lake Como, the other's being further north. We wanted to spend a few days nearer to Como town and Cernobbio proved to be a cracking location and this apartment matched that. It was clean, well equipped and the air con was a blessing during the recent heat wave. Getting around was easy, relatively short walk to the lake shore and ferry to drop into Como. Donc avons mis chauffage de temps en temps avec porte ouverte de l'escalier menant au salon du rez de chausée pour avoir la température convenable. "Communication with our host and his staff was excellent and the neighbors were kind to us as well. The house is beautiful and restored to a better than new level. Walking throughout the town and it’s many cafes and restaurants was a delight."

"Lots of space by European standards. About 15 minutes walking to heart of Bellagio. There really are no taxis which can be challenging if you need to get to the ferry from the home. Shower was pretty bad-very small with a curtain that wouldn’t stay in place. Microwave didn’t work. We asked the host a few questions while we were there and received no response. Overall a nice place for a family given the space."
