Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! "

"As you descend down the drive you become absorbed into tranquility. You immediately realize that this is your chance to become one with nature. The drive opens to the cabin and pond. You spend your team surrounded by nothing but nature. It was just what we needed and we got some amazing pictures and have some phenomenal memories to take us until our next adventure. "This cabin was just PERFECT! Had absolutely everything we needed was quiet and serene yet not remote. A quick 15 minute ride into downtown Galena. Fair enough a way to avoid crowds on a holiday weekend yet quick and easy to get to town. Loved seeing the steer on the lawn/pasture above and below the cabin. We had a tiny issue checking in, but the property manager was very responsive and took care of it right away. Highly recommend staying here "
