"I like the proximity to the airport. Have always been pleased with the hotel but our room was a little worn and the glasses in the bathroom were dirty. Beds were two singles when I was expecting at least two doubles. Just didn't meet the standards I'd experienced before."

Modern and stylish rooms Bar prices are a little excessive but that’s hotels everywhere these days One piece of advice I would offer is that the Hotels car park road post code on sat nav’s is different to the entrance road entrance and due to the 1 way system and no right turns off after the A57 it’s difficult to locate. Hotel booking should make this clearer on its confirmations to guests and Expedia should reference this as well. Otherwise...

"Loved my first stay in the Municipal! Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food, but did enjoy cocktails in the bar, which itself is grand and luxurious. We didn’t realise we had to pay separately for the spa and book ahead - my fault for not checking - but we managed to get a slot on Sunday morning from 8 - 10 and it was so worth it. Spent two lovely hours swimming, relaxing and enjoying the variety of different sensory experiences. Because we had to book, it was not overcrowded and we felt...

"Great hotel....staff were so helpful when we arrived early and were able to quickly find us a room. The little kitchenette is such a bonus to have. Room overlooked Seel Street and we stayed over St Patricks Day wekend.....noise insulation was excellent...a really quiet well planned hotel. Will definitely stay again"
