"The house has been lovingly restored and is the perfect blend of "homely' and "beachy" for the relaxing holiday feeling by the sea. Really thoughtfully designed and has everything you need. The short stroll to the beach was a joy everyday as the views are breathtaking. Gorgeous sands and crystal clear ocean, what else could you ask for! "Could have had better network/wifi options. The wifi only for TV was very slow. Found quite a few insects, could’ve been cleaner, toiletries (tissue roles) could’ve at least have been provided. To add, washed quilt and other beddings (had to dust the living room & bed pillows)."

"There was no communication from the property regarding check in. We had to go to the reception For John Fowler. They did not have any record as it was a private booking. Manager thankfully contacted the owner and provided us with the code for the key. But we did appreciate the welcome including the cookies, tea, coffee and milk. Thanks Location was nice, quiet and surrounded by nature. There is bus service to go to St Ives centre."

"The pod is lovely but it didn’t have a sign to say where it was and it was very hard to find up a tiny street. The information did not say that it was up a permit parking only street. The photos are deceptive as it is a small property, I feel it is overpriced for the size. Unfortunately there was a maintenance issue with the property during my stay which was not responded to. "Great cosy place. Only disappointment was no toiletries when we arrived - we had to go to the shop and buy hand soap! 10% off pub nextdoor - food was ok, decent portions. Room was VERY warm. We turned thermostat off but still needed to open the front door at 1am to get some air. Bed is ok. Bring your own pillows! We had rubbish weather and found tv too small to watch anything. Luckily we bought our laptop. "
