"Lovely villa on outskirts of a small town with bars and restaurants within walking distance. Spacious accommodation with fantastic heated pool. Well equipped and exactly as described. Friendly welcome on arrival (thanks Natalie!) with some essentials in the fridge. Plenty to do in the area with great beaches nearby on East and West coasts. Great communications with the owners too. We could not fault this villa. "

"Flora Villa is in a quiet area about 25-30 minutes walk from the town centre at Lajares. The setting of the villa is beautiful overlooking open scenery to the west. The villa is well equipped and spacious. William was quickly responsive to a minor issue on arrival and was readily available if required. Overall, a beautiful villa and pool in a peaceful location. "From the moment we arrived, the villa felt like home. It is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need. The heated pool is a dream, along with the fabulous outdoor BBQ and eating areas. Delia kindly facilitated a late checkout which was perfect for us with our evening flight. We regularly used the bus service to El Cotillo and Corellejo and was easy to do. We would highly recommend this villa for a peaceful break, but with amenities close by."

"This spectacular villa had all we could want and more. Very spacious, high quality and stylish furniture inside and out. Really comfortable beds and super clean. Pool was perfect, as it was heated I could swim even on cooler days. Very peaceful location, about 15 mins stroll into Lajares and 5-10 mins walk from plenty of restaurants. Can’t see enough good about this place, great communications before, during and after. 5*"

"A well equipped property, not luxurious but what is to be expected for the price. The pool is not heated which means none but the brave will swim in the winter months. A very quiet area, but the town is only a stroll of 1km away for cafes bars and shops. Communication with owners excellent when required. "

"We were in contact with the owners Lyz and Gilbert prior to arrival, to arrange personal handover of keys. Lyz advised on the best way to manouever the hire car onto the grounds, and demonstrated the use of the electric gate. The property was very well presented, clean and tidy and tastefully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, dining facilities inside and out, and a variety of outside areas, in shade or sun, from simple chairs to sun loungers, and, of course, the hot tub which Lyz demonstrated.. Both bedrooms were spacious, with plenty of storage space, and the shower room was well appointed, including a large walk in shower, and had an abundance of towels, plus two towelling robes for use after the hot tub. There was also a large laundry room with washing machine and a line for drying washing. Lyz and Gilbert were the perfect hosts, always contactable by text, and very charming. The area included a walkable town centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, cafes bars and restaurants, and there was an excellent chicken and chip cafe 700 metres away. Saturday, there is an artisan market. There are walking paths too, if you wish to ascend the nearby inactive volcanoes. Further afield are the beaches of the north of the island, or if you fancy going further, the busier southern resorts and a zoo are available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
