Apparently, they were short of staff, so in order to enter the urbanization where the hotel is located, because there’s a gate, we had to wait for someone of the area who wanted to enter the urbanization to be able to enter with them. "What you get for $400 a night: BED BUGS!!! Some guest thought they were mosquito bites - look at the pattern of the bites - in the row, look closely at the mattresses - we found a few bugs after we suspected we were bitten by bed bugs. The worst of all - four fifth of this small island is a trash dump site, septic tank spilled and flooded most of the are you see in "beautiful" pictures posted on line. "Care about the aesthetics of where you're staying? This is a beautiful indoor/outdoor pavilion with interesting art and a fabulous outdoor space. There are lots of spaces for four adults to be together or by themselves, and our family loved the house. The location is an easy drive from the airport and is very convenient to bird-watching on Pipeline Road or the launch for many of the canal tours. Logistics for the trip were made so much easier with all the information provided by our hosts....
