"First time in Crawford and this was a great stay! Boyfriend is from the neighboring area and we were coming up from Denver for an overnight visit. The owner Cherri was just amazing with check in and very friendly! The other two employees of the store were also just as friendly. The room is simple but nice and very clean. Perfect for an overnight stay after running around town all day and getting a good nights rest. Bed was super comfy and comfortable as well. The shower was really nice too (glass door, corner shelving). If we ever come back to the western slope, we will definitely come and stay here! Thank you!"

"This is the second time I've stayed at mine cart and I'm always pleased with my stay here! Compared to the surrounding motels in the same price range I find myself choosing mine cart. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the remodel has everything functional like new, the staff is phenomenal, attentive and accommodating, and it's right in the middle of town. The spaces can be a tad small but as long as you know that coming in it's very doable! Overall as someone who travels to Montrose often to visit family I always stay at mine cart because I know that I'll always have a great place to stay at a fantastic price. Thank you mine cart!"

"The room was immaculate! Very nice renovation to a historic building steps from the busy downtown area. This is a “Satellite hotel” so no front desk and Hotels.com messed up the booking emails. There were no instructions sent as to how to check in and get the WiFi. The staff sprung into action, was friendly & very helpful in getting me in and settled. Great lil cocktail lounge and good coffee. "
