"I booked this hotel as I was attending a funeral nearby. The manager and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are simply furnished, but clean and comfortable. I noticed that some of the rooms were being updated while we were there. I had the Sunday lunch (Steak pie and veg) which was excellent and plenty of it too. The breakfast is of the continental style with no limit on what one ate and bottomless tea and coffee. We had to be out of the room by 11am....

"Have lots of previous stays at the bay to compare to, and with such similarities between many of the properties it’s the small differences that stand out, here the log burner , helpful welcome pack, central location and daylight via patio doors and Juliette balcony make the difference . In the summer the small patio and bbq area will be excellent. Bay development as always suits families and couples of all ages with facilities and beautiful beach nearby "
