"Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "What a great little cabin tucked away from it all! We thought we were WAY off the beaten path because of the way we arrived, only to find coming in from the other end of the road was a much closer trip into town. The place was spotless and we loved the privacy. View was outstanding and the private beach was such a treat. Had dinner at the Clove Hitch - delicious. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone traveling to this area. "
