"Sprawling property with lots of eclectic fixtures. A walk around elicits one “wow” after another. The carriage house was lovely, very cozy, we used the hot tub on the deck every evening. Kitchen well equipped for most cooking, having pantry items available if needed was great. Bed on main floor very comfortable, but room was missing a door. Second bedroom upstairs lovely as well, but requires a firm resolve and a good sense of flexibility to access it via the spiral staircase. Fancy bidet...

"Between the massive pouf, the couch and two recliners, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to crash before and after running the Victoria marathon. It was an easy and predictable drive into downtown, a straight shot on the freeway, and right by Butchart gardens. Highly recommend. "

"Our stay was more than we could have hoped for! The house and surroundings are a place of magic and beauty. We also hosted a small get together of whale researchers within BC for a meeting, and the surroundings added a very personal atmosphere to the day and topics. Everyone was delighted with the place and we hope to book again same time next year. "The property was excellent. In clean condition and lots of extra things like coffee and tea that were nice to have. The road coming up the property that the GPS chose was pretty scary and I was worried that was our main route. However, we only used that going to and from the ferry terminal. We lost power within about 2 hours of being there due to a windstorm and they brought us battery operated candles and a flashlight.
