"Daintree Crocodylus are very clear in what they are and what they are not. We found their advice to be very accurate. Yes, they are "very JUNGLY" and that was great for us. My two kids had a great time and really enjoyed being in the rain forest with all the sounds. We met lots of great people in the communal area. "When we arrived, the entire place appeared abandoned suddenly, no one there, some room doors open. We called out and no one responded. The place was in disrepair and dirty. The experience was creepy and we left, to find another motel. We want our money back!"

"It's a really beautiful spot and the house is beautiful too. Mostly as advertised, but not quite, On arrival, you find that it's solar powered and water is rainwater so you're asked not to use any electrical appliances, minimise use of wi-fi and minimise water usage. Eco credentials are commendable but the limitations should be made clear before you book and pay top dollar. "The house is surrounded by Daintree forest. As described, the bottom floor (kitchen and amenities) is open to nature, and some interesting wildlife came to visit (mainly geckos, but also fireflies and spiders). The location is excellent for exploring the Daintree."
