"Place was perfect for our needs. Convenient to multiple places for trout fishing. Enjoyed the river access from the yard. Owner was really responsive and helpful!!! And we have never broken anything on any stays in the past. All in all I would recommend. Bring two vehicles so you can uses the utilize the available boats. "We stayed here for a Va Tech Clemson football game. It was about a 45 minute drive. Cottage was well equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen was stocked with everything. Bathrooms were updated and spacious and beds very comfortable. Nice to sit out on the porch in rocking chairs and enjoy the peaceful nature. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts was very responsive."

"My husband and I booked this place because we wanted to see some sights around Lewisburg and Covington and drive to the Cass scenic Railway about 1.5 hours away . By the way , if you go there, bring a map because you lose GPS when you get closer to it , but highly recommend ! "I originally booked the cottage for my husband and me but he had a death in the family and couldn’t come. I took a good book with me and mostly relaxed. The cottage is well appointed with everything you need. It also has wonderful curb appeal and dedicated parking. Elinor communicates comprehensive information so you’re never left in the dark about any aspect of your stay. I definitely will be booking again in the future. "

"This property was so nice, that I did not want to leave. It was cozy, well stocked, well maintained, and comfortable. Not far off the beaten path yet still secluded. I loved hearing the flowing river in the mornings and evenings. Our host, the Rowlands was easily accessible and responsive within minutes. Just an incredible slice of paradise. We will be back!"

"Lynne and Buddy were amazing hosts! Everything was wonderful and they were so so helpful and accomdating. From the pictures, to the cooler and ice, even their generator lol. They even took us out on their pontoon boat! The view was amazing where we stayed. I booked it just for that reason, the mtns and the sunset. Def recommend! You guys rock! this place!"
