Big Bear Chalet, modern home on Mount Washington

Brand new 3 story chalet with 2 master bedrooms. A one minute drive to ski lift, close to hiking and mountain biking.
Have fun in this stylish place with the whole family or a group of friends. Enjoy a coffee or glass of wine on the balcony overlooking Strathcona park.
The large kitchen is a chef's dream. Tons of counter space, an induction range, espresso machine, coffee maker, dishwasher, and fridge with ice maker. The large quartz island seats 4 and up to 8 at the dining room table. There is also a half bath on the top floor so you don’t have to keep running up and down the stairs.
Relax on the large U-shaped sectional after a long day on the slopes, with a Netflix movie on the 65" Tv.
If you need a little extra space from your travel companions, there is a lower level bonus room complete with table hockey, plenty of board games, and a second 65" TV. This space also contains a queen size pull-out couch. A warning, however, this space is partially finished and has exposed drains and ductwork that can be noisy.
Our chalet is family friendly with kids toys, books, dishes, high chair, baby monitor and pack n play for your little ones. The second level has 4 bedrooms, 2 masters with ensuites, a third queen room, a bunk room and a third bathroom. The master bedroom at the front of the chalet has a daybed and a bonus kitchenette for extra storage or the couple who enjoys their coffee in bed. Our family enjoyed our stay in the Big Bear house. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The host provided a high chair, toddler dishes and toys which was very much appreciated. The large living space was perfect for our large family.

This was a great space for our family to gather at Christmas! Not only.is the place beautiful, but the hosts have added thoughtful touches such as having pet bowls available, children specific dinnerware in the cupboards and had put up a Christmas tree.

Mid Week Ski Trip
Booked this on short notice for a short ski getaway with my Daughters. My brother, his wife and son joined us, we had six people with ample space. Very comfortable and clean, a quick 3 min drive to the Hawk parking lot and we were skiing. I would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to book it again myself for our next trip.

Beautiful home, great location!
Our family of 6 adults, 3 little ones, stayed here over Spring Break vacation. The house was perfect for all, 4 beds, 3 baths - there was additional space if it had been needed to add another two in the games room. The two sets of bunk beds were perfect for the kids. Lots of space on the living floor, plenty of dishes, cutlery, equipment etc; it is new and ultra clean, plenty of parking! Three minutes drive from the top parking lot. This was a wonderful find! Can't wait to stay there again!

Big Bear Chalet was very comfortable for our family of 7 adults, 2 children and dogs. Laine was a wonderful host, going above and beyond to accommodate any requests, including bringing a dvd player from home so we could watch some old family "movies".😊 Stargazing was amazing...meteor showers, Milky Way, stars, stars, and more stars!
