"There's a reason I have stayed here 3 times and hope to return many more in the future. I just love this Chateau. The building is so stately and gorgeous without being pompous. The rooms are super spacious and well decorated. And forget all that, the food in the restaurant (set menu with 4/5 choices at each course) is absolutely superb. "Bedrooms were a good size. Excellent breakfast. Did not try other meals. Decor is very odd. Deffo lack of taste - all a bit 1980's .Library bar was a good room. Swimming pool and spa facilities were really good. Take your own pillows if you like soft ones. Mattresses were excellent. Convenient for the Hippodrome and you can walk into town. bath tubs were bouncy platic and showers were not brilliant. "
