"I upgraded my room and it was nice and spacious. There were a few small things that weren't quite right with it, though. The shower gel was empty, some of the sachets in the tea/coffee box hadn't been replenished, etc. Reception staff were lovely, the floor staff in the bar seemed over-worked and (understandably) stressed. "Lovely place to stay, the lodges are separate to the castle. Short walk to the main castle And beside the restaurants. Room was spacious and the bed was big. The TV system /channels and remote not very good though. We did the small spa, which was lovely. 25 per person for an hour. Breakfast was in the castle for us as we stayed in Feb, otherwise I think the lodges are in hermiones restaurant. The breakfast was lovely. "
