"Came to visit my son for Senior Day, and to celebrate his achievements. This home was two blocks from his dorm This home reminds me of my grandparents home back in the day. Has all you need, however found out too late there was a French press in cupboard! While I am not a Keurig fan, there was one with k cups provided. Admittedly I'm a coffee snob so I was dismayed to learn too late about the French press. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. "

"Beautiful and comfy little cabin with a great view of the lake. We had a wonderful time fishing and driving around the lake. It was cold and windy, so we did not use the kayaks. Great dock. It is very close to town, which has a grocery store, many great eating places and a great thrift store. The refrigerator is a small dorm fridge with no freezer. There is no internet available at the cabin, but there is a TV with a blue ray DVD player. The cabin is on the same property as the owners and there is a shared drive. We had a great time and hope to visit again when the weather is warmer. You might add a picture of the kitchenette so guests can know what appliances are available."

"My daughter attends Tabor. We're from Alturas Ca. When I brought her here in August I stayed at the motel. But she said you should try the containers. We really enjoyed it. I was like I could live in one of these. The kitchen itself made me think I'm going home to dismantle my small kitchen. I emailed the host on many times asking questions. Always helpful and friendly. "This cabin is our happy place. This is our second visit and we enjoyed the updates including the footbridge, paths, and lookout stand. The hosts have thoughtfully provided all the amenities we needed for a stress-free getaway. We enjoyed using the firepit, grill, and even the DVD player. I already miss drinking my morning coffee on the wraparound porch. We can't wait to schedule our next visit! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was clean, kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was perfect. My daughter and her friends, who attend Tabor college, thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs and played pool every day. I enjoyed the big kitchen to make home cook meals for the college “kids”. The landlord was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Hillsboro or Marion. NOTE: we had been staying in another VRBO rental, which had issues, not the owner’s fault and I found this rental, Laurie was so responsive, accommodated our situation and we were able to change houses the very next day."

"We were so lucky to have found this unique stay less than a couple hours away where we could have lots of adventures in and around the Flint Hills. The silo was beautifully converted and our kids had so much fun exploring the grounds and nearby creek. Thank you for sharing your property with us.
