"We had a short stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Larry lives right next door and he and his wife maintain this adorable historic home. Everything was well appointed. Bed was comfortable, plenty of towels in the bathroom and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a beautiful overlook park right across the street. Will stay again when we visit the Alton area."

"We were in St. Louis on for spring break. This home was located minutes away from the highway which gave us lots of access to sightseeing. Patio area was beautiful. The teenagers enjoyed downtown stairs area as it gave them their own hangout area. We will definitely stay here again."

"We had 4 generations of our family here. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for interacting. Loved the big dining room table with seating for 8 (more when you add the available chairs throughout the house)!! Cooking equipment we felt was somewhat limited: One 6-7 qt. slow cooker, 2-slice toaster, and outdoor charcoal grill and basic pots and pans. "We had guests visiting from Michigan and used The Seedling property as our base of operations. We explored Edwardsville and the surrounding area, much of which was walkable. We loved our time at this property! It was very cute and had plenty of space for two couples and one child."

"Close to zoo . Communication with owner was great. Table was very smsll for a group of 7. No tv which is did not say there was one. Didnt care for tubs at all. Plenty of sleeping room. If you are only going to sleep there and be gone rest of time it is a great place. Kitchen could use a very more dinner ware but we managed. Overall it was a enjoyable stay. Very quite neighborhood."

"Quiet neighborhood and within 20 minutes of most everything in St. Louis. Host had great communication! There is also an alarm for the house, which was nice. Washer and dryer worked well for our needs to be able to wash clothes during a hot week at the soccer fields."
