"We’ve always been smitten with the island and this lovely historical cottage was perfect for our extended stay. Between the grill with propane ready to go and the modern appliances and the well equipped kitchen,dining in was east and fun. Comfy beds, laundry access, and AC unit were great. John was a very communicative and generous hist - great experience!"

"We arrived with instructions to retrieve the front door key from a lock box. We opened the lock box only to find it was empty. We called our host numerous times, emailed and texted. We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success. We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. After numerous calls back and forth they agreed to cancel our booking and begin the process for refunding our money in full. I...

"My friend and I loved our stay. Check-in was easy, no issues. Location was wonderful / just a quick walk to one of the most pretty beaches. Easy access to the free trolley. Very quiet neighborhood which was nice. Among beautiful homes. Backyard is awesome! It was a bit cool while here, so I did not get to enjoy the backyard as much as I wanted. The hummingbird nest and hummingbirds hanging around was such a nice treat. They had all the amenities we needed."

"The house is cozy, clean, well-equipped and in walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach. Owner lives in the house behind it and it very accessible. For us unlucky ones that have to work while there, a little desk would be appreciated, as would be instructions so that we don't have to bother landlord so much. E.g., where exactly to park and that the washer/dryer are in the owner's building. "

"We found our cottage to be very comfortable and well equipped. We did have a minor plumbing issue which was immediately taken care of by the property manager. We found this property to be very quiet and beautiful. Pretty gardens throughout the property add to the relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again."

"Fine little cottage right on the PCH and comfortable walk to Victoria Beach! House had all essentials except for an iron and ironing board. Also, questionable whether or not the bed is actually a king-sized bed as stated on the listing. It was much smaller than anticipated and looked to be the size of a queen. Beside that, the stay was pleasant and met our needs. The communication with caretaker was quick, thorough and helpful. Would recommend this location for future stays. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful time. House was very clean and bed was super comfortable. Loved the location and patio. It had everything you needed for the beach which was huge for us as we flew and couldn’t bring a ton with us. Has ac in every room which was super nice. Parking was convenient and you had your space to park in garage. You could walk to the beach and near by restaurants. "
