"Beautiful hotel with views of the Douro River. We appreciated the staff at Pestana Vintage Hotel. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. They were very supportive and helpful dealing with the theft of my cell phone. We loved our beautiful room and the delicious breakfast. They even prepared a boxed breakfast for us to take with us for an early morning flight."

"Great place for the night before an early flight. The staff was friendly, very helpful, even walked me through a concern I had with my new smartphone. Shuttle to the airport(2 euros) was quick. Glad I got up early as the airport was a tad confusing for my check-in. "

"The hotel was extremely clean and very spacious rooms. It was located in a wonderful area, 25minutes walk to the centre and easily accessible via public transport. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, and the passionfruit mojitos were delicious. Would definitely recommend. "

"Location was fantastic. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had hot water forever. It was a little claustrophobic (it is a box- they’re not exaggerating) but the bigger room seemed ok. It’s well laid out and well appointed. The restaurant is top notch and great value. The sauna is a great touch as well for weary travelers. The roof top is also quite nice. Staff is superb and very helpful. "
