"The hotel appeared a bit old from the exterior but our room was actually in an upgraded area of the hotel and was quite comfortable. We even had a view of the old city centre on the hill. The location is fabulous as it's close to the funicular to the old town as well as being close to the city centre and the train station. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Overall, great stay!"

"Very well located hotel in Como. Very short walk to ferry to get to Varenna, Bellagio and other cities along Lake Como. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was a good size as was the bathroom and both were clean. Breakfast was good with many options. Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would stay there again. One note: Como is about a 1 to 3 hour ferry ride (depending on number of stops) from Varenna and Bellagio. "
