"Unbelievable short stay on our honeymoon for a quick night in Porto Santo Stefano... Booked on expedia, got to hotel, manager says the price is no longer available so bumps it up. NO ironing facility is available We left to go in crinkled clothes into town for some drinks! ... The crazy manager chases us out the hotel and insists the keys must be left with reception.... "We enjoyed staying here. It was very relaxing. However, we were asked to pay extra at checkout for “bianchieri” (white things, meaning towels and sheets). This was not in the terms for this hotel and we were not asked if we need them or informed in advance about the additional charge. I thought it was rather tacky to ask for that at the end of a pleasant stay. I refused to pay it and the staff did not insist but it left a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise lovely stay. "

Close to Castello di Marsiliana for a Wine Tasting experience and Porto Santo Stefano for a Monaco like experience. 2 hours to Roma and 2 hours to Firenze.
