"Lovely stay at the Bell , we stayed on the hotel side not restaurant side . In a floor level room . We were greated by the lovely Katherine i think that was her name , who went through the welcoming chat and safety. Nice to be explained all to make you feel at ease . The room had high ceiling with just the right furniture, for what you needed for a night away & ensuite bathroom with shower & bath . Room was clean and bed comfortable. With tea & coffee facilities. "Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and warm but the water pressure was low so only a trickle from the taps. Steep steps to dining area/bar so not suitable for disabled people."

"Short business trip on my own so just needed a cheap place for a couple of nights. Was very pleased I booked the Narrow Boat though as it was first class and not at all expensive so definitely very good value for money. The room was one of 8 in 2 purpose build accommodation buildings at the end of the car park. Good size room with a bathroom with a spacious and effective shower. "The room was nice, good layout, and the sofa area in the conservatory and outdoor space was a bonus. And it was quiet too, which I was worried about as it's a pub. The room wasn't super clean, there were dead bugs and stuff. And some of the room felt tired and tatty. But that wouldn't stop me staying again. However, the biggest issue was there is no wifi in the rooms, and the phone signal isn't great. As I was there to work it was a problem. "

"The landlord / manager Chris was fantastic . Very friendly and helpful and what an asset to the establishment he is . Will return when we are in the area . The rooms comfy bed and great selection of teas and coffee in the room. Also liked that fact milk in a bottle not pods . Pub - lovely meal and wine ! And great breakfast included . Tks again "
