"A friend and I rendezvoused in the Canaan Valley in early November to hike in the nearby Dolly Sods and other trails in the area. Garagemahal was exactly as advertised: clean, quiet, spacious (for two people), and conveniently located. The owners/managers (Chip and Laurie), who live across the driveway, were friendly and available to provide information or report problems to (there weren't any), but were otherwise unobtrusive. We will return."

"Excited for our long weekend trip. The attached kitchen area over the garage had a leaking sink which my girl had parked in there and it leaked through the floor onto her car hood. Had to fix it just tighten up everything on p trap. Pool table had 1 working que stick but it was warped, there was 4 others but no tips on them! The dryer was packed slam full of linens from previous stay I suppose. For the price I would’ve expected better but overall it’s a nice place. Also the driveway is very...

"We just spent a long ski weekend with two other families. Enjoyed the location, the open floor plan, the hot tub. Size wise the house was a little tight for the whole crew. Beds are squeezed into the two lower bedrooms and there’s no separate space for kids to hang out (which we knew) . "The house is clean and has the basics. The light by hot tub was out and we reported it. The location of the house is good minus the actual driveway. We had three neighbors. We all got stuck trying to get out of the driveway in the snow. We have a ford f150 and it was still challenging. We almost had to call a tow truck to get over the steep driveway. I wish checkin was easier where you can just use key code to get into house rather than going to the office down the road."

"Our stay was very good- the location was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit - Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley, the Dolly Sods and the town of Thomas.
