"This is a lovely cottage, full of character whilst still being comfortable and cosy. The location within the town is perfect. Completely quiet and peaceful but only two minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street with its shops, pubs and restaurants. The addition of a car parking space is SO useful....and very rare! Our hosts were delightful. Communicative and available without being in any way intrusive. Altogether, a very good find!"

"A beautiful home , where 9 members (age3-71 of our family enjoyed 6 nights . Plenty of room, everything you could need for self catering, lovely garden with hot tub in a fantastic setting. Communication with Gill was prompt and efficient. We visited Lulworth Cove and Weymouth, as well as Kingston Maurward Animal park( free), and had Sunday lunch at nearby Brewers Arms. Lots of nice walks too. I can certainly recommend this property ."

"This is one of a small number of cottages tucked away in a lovely little village with views overlooking open fields and it was wonderful. It was impeccably clean, nicely decorated, adorned with everything you’d need for a stay and I can not fault anything about it. "Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. "What a wonderful home to stay in. This is just the most cozy, warm, cottage imaginable. It lacks for nothing. The house is on a lovely farm with great walking areas. Pete and Bev are superb hosts, and were happy to offer whatever we might need, while not being at all intrusive. "We came for a short break Thursday-Sunday. The van was spotless. The host thought about everything from providing fairy liquid, to loo rolls. Even a little sewing kit in the bathroom. We were very lucky with our weather even had a coffee on the veranda. The views over to chesil very pretty at night with the lights. Would highly recommend and use again. Thank you. "
