"We stayed for 2 weeks in July and loved the house and private pool. The house has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. We had a mixture of days by the pool and BBQs in the evenings and days out. We loved the covered terrace which was great as the days were so hot. The air-conditioning in the bedrooms was a life saver. We visited Otranto, Gallipoli, Matera, Santa Maria de Leuca, and Alberobello. There is so much to do. "The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient...

"We were blown away from start to finish the second we arrived on this property. Panoramic ocean views abound from pool deck to roof deck to the multiple patios and decks to the living room. Herbs and chilis grow all over the gardens. The kitchen has everything needed to cook anything. There’s even an outdoor wood fired brick oven. "La maison est magnifique, spacieuse et propre. Toutefois les matelas à ressorts sont très inconfortables, la piscine est commune à plusieurs locations (plus ou moins indiqué dans le texte de l’annonce mais nous avions coché "piscine privée"...), la terrasse de la maison étant à 3-4 mètres de la piscine nous avions des inconnus juste sous le nez (et avec des enfants, hors période scolaire..) dommage !"

"A cozy little cottage with tiny, almost windowless bedrooms, but otherwise everything was fantastic. The outdoor patios and upper deck views are amazing and the place is so peaceful.
