"This is an incredible site on the side of a very steep hill. Arriving by tuk tuk from El Nido town (7 mins, 150 PHP) we were dropped at the security gate. A courtesy bike took us up the very steep drive to reception. We stayed in the Dome, a remarkable view over the bay behind El Nido with a huge deck and wonderful interior space. It’s definitely glamping so keep that in mind. The attention on things that we found important - a great Japanese kettle, fantastic ceramic mugs for tea and coffee, huge wine glasses and a fridge and freezer for chilling down drinks to enjoy on the deck with that view. The bed was comfortable and the features lovely and tasteful. The camping side was the bathroom is a little cramped and annoyingly the air conditioner is placed right above your head on the bed. You need to run this through the night and it had a habit of dripping condensation right where my head rested on the pillow. I’m told they will fix this because they really must. They run a fantastic free shuttle bike into town and can collect you from a central point to return home. The pool was beautiful and the restaurant solid, tasty though a few items missing off the menu. Really loved the stay, so quiet away from the bustle of the streets below. "

"Enjoyed a lovely stay at the Buko Beach Resort. The rooms are lovely and pool area great for sunset views. There were a lot of mosquitos when we stayed but the hotel does provide mosquito coils for the outside shower and toilet area and mosquito repellent. The resort is close to some excellent restaurants, notably Cala, Chabacano and Bela Vita. We arranged a private island hopping tour via the hotel and it was competitively priced compared to private tours offered in El Nido main town. The hotel is on the beach but it isn’t great for swimming, Vanilla Beach is great and is walkable. Lastly the staff were friendly and helpful. "

"This is small and gorgeous. If you want to hang out and relax this is the place to be. The staff are fabulous. As soon as we pushed our luggage out of the door of our accommodation staff nearby rushed over to take it for us; they are attentive and very helpful. The pool is cooler than normal Philippines pools - we found this to be better because it was easier to cool down and relax in the heat again. No kids running around was a big bonus. The air con in the chalets work well once you have worked them out. Showers are great and we are planning to come back. Overall this is a mini paradise for adults. "
