"The Beachside Resort is a great place to stay in Whitianga. We had separate bedroom and living rooms, along with a small kitchen, which was very convenient for a multi-day stay. The heated pool is very nice. The complex is less than one block to the beach and only a few blocks to town. Cathedral Cove (30-min drive, 10-min shuttle, then 40-min walk) is worth a visit."

"The individual cabins are pretty much like the Lockwood style construction both inside and out. I guess you could say that they are a bit dated, but nice just the same. It’s quite a nice setting and very quiet. The cabin was equiped with the basics that you would require for a pleasant overnight stay. The water pressure on the shower was disappointing but apart from that it was ok. "

"A very good place for nice stay. Everything was fine. Unfortunately there were a bunch of ants in the room which we could handle. The manager was a helpful and friendly guy. Very relaxed. Anything we had was solved asap. We recommend this place."
