"I had a great stay there and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be much as the rate was really cheap in comparison to other hotel prices, but when I arrived I was really impressed. The hotel was in a quiet and nice location, the rooms were clean and comfortable and it had a homely vibe to it. I would definitely stay there again if I was to ever go back to that part of Cornwall. "We loved our family stay at Towerhill. It is a beautifully and meticulously restored historic house. One gorgeous bedroom dates from 1614; the family has been there since 1794. There are excellent mod cons that are beautifully blended, and which make it home-y and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed as are the baths, and the beds are comfortable. It is beautifully decorated and there is much family history - including a gorgeous engraved map of Cornwall that was created by an ancestor. Two sitting rooms and a beautiful garden with tables and seating make many comfortable gathering spaces for meals, games and conversation. The location is convenient to shopping for eating in, and close to an award winning pub for eating out. Bodmin itself is a wonderful central location: easy trips to restaurants in the other towns, and convenient for excursions to the north coast, the south coast and many other places / attractions. It’s very near wonderful walks on Bodmin Moor as well as along the Fowey River and on parkland near Lanhydrock (a super National Trust house.). Richard, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and a mine of information on places to visit, as well as on the house and its history. There was a lovely welcome basket of goodies plus get-started fridge supplies, including all the makings of a proper cream tea, a bottle of Prosecco, and milk, eggs, butter and bread. I would love to stay here again!"

"A beautiful little hideaway central to anywhere you want to go in Cornwall. Lovely peaceful little site. Tina is a beautiful soul who is so helpful. We will be returning and fully recommend to anyone who loves the simplicity of peace and tranquility. The pods are small cosy and homely. The dogs and horses are a joy to watch and be around. Our furbaby also had a very relaxing short stay with the freedom of the outside area. Perfect. Thank you from us both. Lisa and Mark Burge. "
