"Overall was good. You can see they are still renovating so there were some little things but nothing major."

"The house was very clean. Linens were in great shape! Towels were amazing. We loved the basket of blankets/throws. The small pool table was a huge hit! Everyone played at some point of our visit. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. We wished the weather had been warmer so we could have used the outdoor space. Lake view was beautiful & relaxing. We would rent again if we are meeting in Southern Illinois. Our group came from NW Indiana, Chicago and Atlanta."

"The house was clean and looked like the pictures. There were 3 of us and we didn’t spend much time inside the house, but we all slept comfortably. It took us a little bit to get used to the kitchen being downstairs "

"The location is unbeatable. The house is beautiful. We could feel the attention to detail and pride the owners have in everything , down to the fancy lighting fixtures and welcoming lemonade in the fridge. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were well stocked; the house was both professionally presented while also being comfortably unpresumptuous. The rate was more than fair and made the stay even that much more enjoyable. Loved it in every way. Thank you for opening your home !"

"Beautiful home, stocked with everything. Could use a deep clean since the living room carpet had multiple spills. Also the decorations and chandeliers have a thick layer of dust. Allison was very responsive, helpful and friendly."

"I get the weather and the warmth, but there we 100s of lady bugs coming in every available spot in doors and windows. They made the main level and the upstairs unhabitable. The house itself was beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The propert was well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were great additions. The location was great for local attractions and ease of travel. We would definitely stay here again, just not woth warm fall temps."
