We live in a different state but have a daughter that has relocated to the area and we will try to use this home for all our future visits and stays in the area."

"Great place close to downtown Roanoke and quick access to everything the star city has to offer! Very nice and clean place including the linens! Some places we have stayed have skimped there but now here! The parking can be a little tricky if you have a larger vehicle like we do but we made it work. My only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror in the bedroom for getting ready and a shelf of some sort over the toilet to set toiletries on as the bathroom sink is a pedestal...

"My two girlfriends and I wanted to do the Triple Crown as separate day hikes. This was the perfect place to stay--only 15-20 min from the trailheads. Roanoke had plenty to offer for after our hikes and Emily's house was very comfortable to stay and cook dinners at night. We would definitely stay here again for future hiking trips."

"Easy (country road) 10 minutes to downtown Blacksburg. While we only had three adults on this trip and a small pooch, this home has plenty of sleeping and living space for several more. "This is our second time staying here. My pup loves it! The area is amazing with so much to do and the Yurt has everything you could possibly need. "This property had everything we were looking for - lots of room for sitting, relaxing and catching up with friends. It is a perfect location to VT, the VT Inn, and Blacksburg downtown. Our visit was during February - so a bit chilly, but in warmer weather the outside patio area would be really nice. We plan to request this property again for our next visit to Blacksburg, Va."

"I visited in the fall with some college friends for a game weekend, and had an incredible stay! The house is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance to campus and downtown. "What an amazing stay. We had an absolutely lovely time and the owners clearly spent alot of time and energy curating a beautiful space. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hottub and exploring the on property hiking trails! A beautiful quaint spot, and well worth the price... no regrets at all, other than accidentally breaking the tire swing... Whoops! I guess we aren't little kids anymore! "

The property itself was spotlessly clean and also very quiet, which I appreciated. The kitchen had all of the equipment that I needed. The mattress was a little hard but comfortable enough.
