"Although in the centre of the south of Vancouver island, Port Alberni really is a port. Vancouver Island is big, beautiful and quite remote, especially given that it's so close to the city of Vancouver. The property is a fairly typical motel, clean and comfortable and designed for a car user. Which is just as well as while I did see some bus stops in town, i can't imagine how you would get there by public transport."

"This properties level of cleanliness is terrible. The young man that helped us to get clean linen and towels was very nice. The room needed a complete cleansing. The buildings steel stairwell in rusted almost clean through. In my opinion this property need too many repairs and upgrades. "

"Location was convenient. OK, if you just need a place to stay for a couple of days. The towels were all stained. Management wanted the dishes washed but only place to do it was in the bathroom sink. Smoke alarm had a dying battery and beeped all night long. Probably won't stay here again."
