"One of the many good things about The View in Eastbourne is that it has a number of single rooms, and they represent particularly good value for money. Also, great sea views, friendly and helpful staff, nice food, good value, and very clean. My only negative experience is only a minor one. It's just a bit fiddly if you want breakfast in your room - you have to go to reception to get a little form to indicate your order, and then give it back to reception for them to take it from there. No such forms in the rooms, and no option to hook the form on your door for the night porter to collect the form and give it to the kitchen. Perhaps if you scan the code on the leaflet in the room it gets simpler, but I got a message on my phone saying it was out of date. Overall a great stay though, and the restaurant is very spacious if you want a quiet table for breakfast. "

"It was excellent for me as a solo traveller.Easy to locate. The staff were very helpful, the room I stayed in was clean and well decorated. I liked the wet room bathroom and the facilities in it were easy to use. The only problem I could see was the shortage of towell rails. There was only one towell rail but the bedroom was large and could accommodate 3 people. As the wet room is also large perhaps 2 more towell rails could be attached to the wall opposite the shower seat for when 2 people stay."
