"This property was exactly as advertised, a beautiful clean home, with a lovely garden. We stayed whilst visiting disneyland, very close to bus stop which takes you there directly. The hosts Eric and Theresa, what can I say, the most kind hearted welcoming people , we arrived late on the friday night , when I awoke on the Saturday morning Eric had gone to the shops and bought bread, butter, milk and Jam and left by the back door, such a lovely thing to do. "We were very happy with our holiday. The accommodation was historic and beautiful with plenty of room for four adults and three children. The hosts were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. The position of the accommodation was within easy driving distance of many attractions including Disney, a water park, a medieval town and Fontainebleau. Paris is easily accessible by train. We spent a happy two weeks there despite mixed weather and would certainly recommend it."

"This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....

"We found the house was a comfortable base for our stay visiting Paris for the Olympic Games. It is conveniently located only about 15 minutes drive from Tournan-en Brie which is on two RER lines which take you into the centre of Paris in 30-45 minutes. The house is well equipped and stayed cool during some very hot weather. The welcome was friendly and efficient giving us all the information we needed. "Very neat old house in the garden of the abbey and next to the house of the property owner. Very warm welcome, great parking spot for the car and walking distance to the local boulangerie and shops. Good location for champagne wine tours. The towns (Essome-sur-Marne as well as Chateau-Thierry) are not as lovely as the small villages on the Montagne de Reims. Great walking routes in the area with lots of WWI and WWII historical sites."

"Good location for being near the station but overall a very unsafe area. Room was rundown and old furniture. The window/slanted balcony was nice. And the staff was friendly. Bag storage was useful before and after checking in and out. "

"Hotel was in an excellent position to get to Disney, literally 2min on the train which is right outside the hotel. It was €2.20 adult and €1.10 a child each way. Rooms are dated and lighting was poor in the living room (no main light) everything you would need in the kitchen including a dishwasher and tablet's! Large clean bathroom and bed was comfortable. Rooms lovely and warm. Will definitely stay here again when visiting disneyland!"

"Brilliant for a Disney stay! Stayed there multiple times now and staff are friendly, rooms are just what you need and its a 10/15 min walk to train station or the parks!"

Relaxing night before a flight

"The decor is amazing! Hype and modern vibes. All the staff is very friendly from check in to the bar and kitchen. The complimentary drink on arrival is a plus, as well as the morning expresso! The route from CDG Val is well indicated and mostly covered which is welcomed on a rainy day. Beds are comfy and room well insulated. I strongly recommend Moxy CDG if you want to have a last good night in Paris before a long flight!"
