The house itself is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for the kids to play and relax. The master bedroom is stunning. We especially loved how easy it was to access the sea, the beach, and the coastal path – perfect for morning swims and scenic walks. "It is a large house with lots of different sleeping spaces/options. The kitchen table will seat everyone, games areas, two lounges ( one of which enjoys the sunset where we enjoyed pre dinner drinks), the views towards Widemouth Bay are amazing as is the sunset from the property. "We booked The Avalon for a multi generational family holiday with 12 adults, two children, two babies and 3 dogs! The layout and facilities were perfect for us. It is rare to find a large property with a bathroom for every room. The Avalon had everything we needed and is very well equipped. The thoughtful additions such as travel cots, high chairs, dog bowls and dog beds made everything a little easier. "It was an absolutely lovely experience and grate place to stay. The most disappointing thing, esotericism on a holiday advertised for kids, is that you can only get 1 hour slots at the pool per day. Yes the pool is emptier when you're there but 1 hour is just not enough! Plus you have to drive to get anywhere else that's kids friendly. So if that changed my rating would improve."

"The property was spacious and clean with amazing views over the river however there were slight difficulties with the parking it is in a lay by round a bend on a busy Rd going past the property although the host advises parking outside to drop luggage off but this was not easy to do. The layby could do with a mirror opposite to see ongoing traffic as you drive in and out. The host was very helpful with any extra questions we had and we would stay here again. out"

"Just the most fabulous property in every aspect. Superb communication from owners concerning check-in and also in extremely useful welcome notes in property to support. House is very close to shops and a walkable distance to beaches and town centre. Wonderful stay. Cannot recommend highly enough. "

"We stayed for a short break of 2 nights. Lovely little cabin at the end of owners' property, not overlooked, very private and absolutely quiet. The only noise came from birds and sheep! In the cabin was everything you'll need such as microwave, toaster and kettle, even one electric hob. Comfy bed and TV with Freeview. Shower of course. No Wifi but my phone worked on mobile data. Lovely owners, available if there are questions. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Lynn xx"

"This small house has lovely views over Looe and is a good base for exploring the area. The house though wouldn’t suit everyone. Access to the house is via a steep narrow staircase. The main bed is comfortable. The bunk though would probably only suit children. Certainly it would not suit someone who is heavy or tall. The house is quite well kitted out but anyone staying for any length of time would likely need to buy things like shampoo and soap. All we got were three small sachets for three...
