"We did not learn from the description that the gîte was a downstairs room in owners house, on a housing estate, on a steep hill with no parking immediately outside. The owners were very pleasant but the room was very dated and furniture well worn. Not what we expected."

"We booked this gite very late due to a different booking being cancelled. However this cancelation meant we stayed in a better property in a better location, must have been fate. Can't find anything negative to say, only positives. Kitchen worked well for enjoying meals in the shade. "We had an excellent fortnight in this beautiful house. The terrace and pool were particularly welcome as we were there during the 2022 heatwave. The house is well placed for visits to Provence, the Ardeche and Montpellier, as well as Uzes and Nimes. Note that the house does have fans in the bedrooms (despite what an earlier review says). Mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance but kept reasonably at bay with a coil on the terrace and plug ins at night. Overall I would strongly recommend this...
