"Having stayed many times in apartments in Lucca I have to say that this apartment stands well above lots of others in standard, ambience and comfort. I was aware that it was three floors up, but these are the type of places I like. There was one small issue that cropped up and it was handled very well and courteously by the host family…on a Saturday!! And resolved by the same evening! This was very reassuring and made staying in their apartment even more special! I can highly recommend this...

"The dishwasher did not work. Laundry very tight. The host seemed to know nothing about the property and was uninterested. Sitting area was tight. There was one sofa only, no footstools, no arm chair so not easy to relax at the end of a long day walking. Verandah was great, luckily. "The apartment is exactly as advertised. It is bright, spacious and beautifully designed. I loved the proximity to everything. Especially the church attached to terrace and the music conservatory across the street. Lorenzo is very friendly and professional. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient.
