"This is somewhere that is actually better in reality than in the pictures. The decor and level on maintenance is first class. The owner has clearly shown as much care on the apartment as she would on her own living space. Many fine, well thought out details reflect that care. One small glitch was rapidly and appropriately resolved by the owner.As my family lives within 5 minutes of the cottage, my wife and I look forward to many returns in the future. Highly recommended. "I travelled to Taunton by train to watch cricket and do some walking. The property is conveniently positioned for both, comfortable, clean and well fitted out. The town centre is just a short walk away. However confirmation of the lock box code for access was not provided 24 hours prior as promised and I had to chase, which was a bit stressful. On my return I was advised the security deposit will not be returned due to a burn mark from the iron on the carpet. I was staying on my own to watch...

"I was visiting my sister who lives in Taunton with my 1yo daughter and we had an amazing stay. The apartment was bright, clean and cozy. It is in a very central part of town and we were able to walk everywhere! Highly highly recommend! Communicating with Malcom was easy and we really enjoyed our stay."

"It was amazing. In the kitchen is everything you need. And the details. Great. Important things were in red. Very nice. The double bed was quite nice. "Overall stay was lovely, great location and Google maps gets you there fine but written instructions a little confusing with many DONT’s. The linens on the 2 single beds became very damp over the course of our 2 night stay which was of course uncomfortable. Possibly the stone walls/warm bodies. "We had a lovely stay in Blue Anchor, the cottage was so warm and cozy, beautiful views and a much needed welcome pack waiting for us when we arrived.
