"We had an excellent time at Portside Villa. The house is perfectly positioned on Discovery Bay, with great water access from the deck and the private beach. Our daughters are Masters Swimmers and they did a lot of open water swimming. Our kids and grandkids visited the Puerto Seca Park and loved the floating trampoline. Negel, the butler, helped us set up some time on a jet ski and so many other activities. We played pool a lot and visited the Gistening Water and the Blue Hole, which exceeded expectations and was a major hit with the 17 year olds.Chef Bell did an excellent job on Breakfast, lunch and dinners. We choose to eat at the Villa almost every night, and were rewarded with several 5 Star dinners. The house has wifi, but with a lot of devices going and TV streaming, it was sometimes slow. An idea for Kori to consider is "starlink" which allows tons of devices at excellent speed, for a reasonable price. The house has no obstructions for the satellite.For us, the house was not a place for nightclubs or big time shopping,, but we enjoyed the focus on family fun and great food and service. The house is well maintained, although in places it shows its age, but at this price point it is a real bargain."
