"House is a perfect spot for someone with multiple dogs and does not care about pet hair, stained carpets, etc. We were not allowed to check in an hour early as we were told housekeeping needed that time, however we were in the driveway and there was no housekeeping there. Sinks and tables were dirty upon entering home and no resolution about cleaning fee being reimbursed as we had to clean."

"This was the perfect property for us. We LOVE the Colington area and this cottage is perfectly situated right on the water. It was the perfect size for us and our two dogs. It was nice to have a fenced yard to be able to not have to leash them up for potty breaks. The house is cozy and well-equipped. Thank you for sharing your property with us. "

"When we opened the front door, we were delighted and immediately at ease in this lovely vacation home. It's really like being in a new home! Beautiful decor, including a sofa with the largest chaise we've ever seen. So comfy. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed. Everything was thought of to make visitors feel welcome. The sunrises over the sound were gorgeous and a special surprise was the family of deer that worked their way through the front yard early each morning. It was wonderful to be away from the main road, quiet and relaxing. My best friend and I were so pleased with this choice which is near enough to Kill Devil Hills and other more well known towns, but you would never know it because it's in such a delightful area. I read hundreds of reviews of condos, houses, etc. over a couple of months and kept coming back to this sweet cottage, so finally booked it for a week and would most definitely return in the future. A keeper!"

" We loved our stay at the unique and beautiful Cypress Moon Inn. The property is full of character and we especially enjoyed the owner’s appreciation of nature; there was a wonderful blending into the surroundings. Greg and Linda were gracious and attentive hosts- gave us space but were also willing to share history and stories full of personality with us. The antique furnishings in the Inn are beautiful and the building itself is a work of high craftsmanship. We would love to stay here again!"
