"The villa is spectacular as in the pictures. Beautiful outdoor area marred only by the mosquitoes! The pool was clean and despite one heating pump malfunction stayed at a nice 29 degrees throughout. Xisco, the owner, lives in the villa next door and was very quick in every instance when asked for anything or when reporting any problems. In short we had a lovely holiday in beautiful surroundings. "Beautiful comfortable house in the town of Son Serra de Marina. Pool was great and the whole family enjoyed the outdoor living. We all commented how relaxing and calm it was there but you’re still in a town with facilities that were good with the supermarket and a few restaurants in walking distance."

It was a short walk - 10-15mins - to both beaches, albeit the walks were a little difficult for my parents due to the stairs. Cala Mendia itself is a very quiet resort but it had enough restaurants for our needs. I would recommend the local shops for essentials only as they are very expensive.
