"The property is lovely, very clean and comfortable. The views from the terrace of the surrounding mountains are superb, and the area is very quiet. We booked the "Cook at home" experience and I have to say it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The pool is well maintained and a good size, but could maybe benefit from some umbrellas/shade. Overall we had a fantastic week here and would definitely book again!"

"Die Vermieter Daniela und Pietro sind sehr liebenswürdige und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Das Ferienhaus haben wir in einem sehr gepflegten und sauberen Zustand übernommen. Every room in this house is designed with so much attention to detail and taste that you feel at home from the very first second. "I get the feeling the owners have just bought this house & are just starting to rent it out. It seems they have upgraded some parts of the apartment but others are old i.e. the kitchen doors look new, but the carcasses are very old. The lounge felt like it was missing a tv. "We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."

"This lovely home could not be better situated for a northern Tuscan vacation. It is close to Pisa, Lucca, Pietrasanta, the beautiful Ligurian Sea, as well as the Cinque Terre and the jaw dropping marble quarry of Carrara . The town of Camaiore is a bustling surprise, full of terrific restaurants and cute shops. "We were a group of three adults and six children that stayed in the house for four nights. We loved this great place that is tucked away in the greenery and has stunning views. Mauro, the owner is very friendly and helpfull. There is a pizza oven outdoors and a huge table so many can eat together. The drive up and down was a little hairy the first time but something we got used to fast. We would definately come back to this gem of a house!"

The shower and toilets are a combination sort of deal. So you shower on a wooden crate they provide while the shower curtain separates you from the toilet.
