"Pat and Una Weir were attentive and gracious hosts. We arrived around 18:00(6:00 pm) after exploring the ancient New Grange/ Boyne Valley area. Even though Una was very busy welcoming diners she showed us the apartment straight away and explained how everything works. "Nice hotel. Room was clean and the beds were nice. Our room had a twin and a full. It had a great view of Trim Castle. It was within walking distance to the castle as well. "

"Overall I had a fantastic stay again, room comfort was good, bed very comfortable with nice linen. The room was a little on the warm side - which I have to say I prefer to a cold room but I know some people do not like it. You can of course open the window if you are too warm. The bathroom was a little dated in places but clean. The Bar food also has to get a mention - daily menu had a very good selection and a welcome change from the usual hotel offerings of just fried food. The strawberry creme brulee is a must have. Overall a very good stay."
