"Sue and Avril really made our stay pleasant. From the moment I had contact with Sue (requesting another night stay) to dinner reservations and afternoon tea when we arrived, she was constantly engaged with us and making our stay at her beautiful Thistle House warm and welcoming. "This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended"

"A really unique and beautiful B&B a short walk from Inveraray town centre. Rob was a great and kind host, and tended to our every need. We stayed in the Cairngorm Suite, a beautiful room with everything you could need and more, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was also to a high standard with great local produce. Would highly recommmend and would love to stay again!"

"We had a two night stay at 2 stones. Ben greeted us and was very welcoming, friendly & informative. We had a fabulous view looking out over loch Long. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A decent sized bathroom although the shower was a little 'snug'. There was traffic noise from the road but it didn't affect our stay. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices. We would definitely return."
