"We were looking for a dog-friendly base over the Christmas period to visit local family in Coggeshall.The bakehouse was lovely and homely with a fantastically equipped kitchen where we were able to host the all-important Christmas day lunch.The superking bed was probably one of the comfiest my wife and I have ever slept on and the linen was of the highest quality. I don't often sleep well in new places but I slept like a log in this massive, soft, warm bed.Our 19-year-old daughter was happy on the sofa bed and the downstairs stairgate meant our dog could just sleep in the kitchen in front of the electric radiator.Everything was of the highest quality and it our first experience of branded hand soap which was a really nice touch as were the arrival scones.I really couldn't fault anything and we will certainly look to stay there again in the future."

"There were 16 of us for a family weekend. The house is fabulous, very comfortable with lots of different spaces. The gardens are lovely and the tennis court was a real hit worth all the family. Communicating with the hosts was was simple. Would recommend."
