"The property was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. Lots of windows with a few that can be a little stiff when trying to close or open the metal exterior blinds but manageable. On our first day it was cool and windy on the lake with huge waves crashing against the rocks out front and splashing against the large bay windows, we were looking forward to the hot tub. Had unexpected guests arrive for a few drinks and late night hot tub but unfortunately tub water level wasn't checked...

"We rented the cottage in order to visit the Hawk Tower in the Essex Cty Conservation Area. It was the perfect convenient location and a cozy place to relax after a day spent outdoors. We'd recommend it to anyone looking for a special way to enjoy the comforts of home in a beautiful natural setting. It was our third visit and we look forward to coming back again."

"This was a perfect location for our group of six seniors who came to Pelee for the fall migration. The home was lovely with plenty of room to spread out and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It was very clean, kitchen was well equipped, outdoor seating was ample and right at the edge of the lake. We enjoyed campfires on 2 of the evenings we were there. "The location was amazing! A small sandy beach right behind the cottage made it easy to access the lake. We stayed there in late August and the water was warm. Use of the kayaks and paddle boards was a bonus. The cottage itself was compact but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Lots of comfortable seating on the deck including shaded areas made it easy to enjoy the outdoors and great sunset views. Highly recommend!"

"Place was clean, well appointed, easy to access, very quiet. I had some wifi issues that host went above and beyond to solve. The only critique I would suggest is a larger TV as the sitting room is quite large and there’s possibly 20+ feet to the TV. Us older gentleman need the visual help. Would stay again when visiting family in the area."
