"We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, with every comfort of home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had plates, cutlery and the kitchenware for preparing and sharing lovely meals, with a beautiful, expansive view of the tree-lined property. The pool table, trampoline, and large television for movies kept the kids happy, while the adults enjoyed the outdoor patio to unwind after exploring the area. "Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and quiet. The beds were very comfortable with new pillows. Our room had newer flooring, a renovated bathroom, desk with office chair plus a table with 2 chairs. The walls and furniture looked fresh and spotless. The staff was amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We will stay here again!"

Lovely stay in Carrying Place

"Thje house and property are spacious, comfortable and clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and pleasant. Perfect for our extended family's stay.The backyard extends to the Bay of Quinte, where we watched a pair of swans and listened to frogs."

Excellent- Will definitely stay again

"Very relaxing quiet stay. We had lots of privacy and our room was very spacious. We were upgraded to the “bridal suite” at no extra charge without having to ask. Staff is friendly and accommodating and made us feel comfortable and welcome at the resort. Nice area for free breakfast in the grand hall that is used for wedding receptions. I’m sure the grounds are even more beautiful in the summer/fall as foliage just starting to grow at this time. Outside patio/pool would be very inviting when warmer. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with eggs/bacon/french toast/pancakes all made to order. The fabulous Fresh baked Pumpkin muffins to start were a nice touch while waiting for breakfast. We loved the Raspberry Lavender jam ( homemade by Lucy) so much we bought some to take home along with Pickled Beets.All the preserves/chutneys etc are homemade with wonderful unique flavour combinations. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked a third night. We would recommend Timber House Resort and will stay there again when we visit the area."
