"This was a nice hotel with perfectly clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Breakfast was a little basic for the price and was not included. Staff are pleasant and very helpful."

"We spent a wonderful 5 nights here to explore the cognac region. The staff are fantastic, the gardens beautiful, and the food absolutely superb. They have a large selection of cognacs to taste too. Even though the mattress was a little too firm for our liking, we still slept well. A wonderful place to stay and would love to return. "

"Arrived at hotel at 14.10 to find hotel closed and a note on door saying “closed until 17.00” we called a number left on the door and after pleading with the lady she returned 20 mins later. We checked in and were charged a few euros more than that stated on the booking. We were so tired after driving from the uk we just paid and went to the room. On a positive note the restaurant next door is excellent. There is also a very good wine shop one door along from the restaurant. "

A warm friendly welcome, spacious rooms, an excellent restaurant, even catering for my wife, vegetarian, and myself with a dairy product allergy. We had a great meal washed down with some good very local wine. We were so relaxed, we slept in by an hour more than usual"
