"I had to come into town for business but brought along my son and puppy for a night away. The property is absolutely lovely!! The rooms, the grounds and the entire Inn is beautiful. The staff was kind, attentive, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend The Latch Inn and would stay there again...and the breakfast was amazing!!"

"Kelly is a boss. Will return. The goats and the sheep are great. Very healing! The breakfast is epic. The host Kelly and the staff are professional and above and beyond professionals. I would suggest two things that are easy to attain for future improvement—not complaining. a) Please watch for animal/pet/farm animal hair in food. "Recycling and garbage as you walk to the entrance and you walk by looking into the owners kitchen. The main area is also used as a staff room? There is a sign on the fridge that says staff use only and clearly has staff’s food in it. You only actually get a bedroom with a lock on it and a bathroom with cleaning supplies mops etc on the wall. I absolutely did not feel safe especially when I came back and someone had been in the suite. This is not as advertised at all. "

"Lovely location, easy walking to the marina, shops and restaurants. The property is tucked off the road so is quite quiet! The accommodation is cozy and quaint and was just as described - perfect for curling up on the loveseat (or recliner) reading a novel and enjoying the view! It has a lovely little fireplace heater for ambiance, too! (It was rainy and chilly for part of our trip so this was a bonus!) I discovered beautiful little walking paths throughout Cowichan and we had the added pleasure...

"The kitchen was basic, but had most everything you would need to do basic cooking. In-suite laundry was very convenient, although our dryer did not work well. Major grocery stores were nearby, but could most easily be accessed by car. The suite was spacious, up-to-date, and with good light and opening windows for fresh air. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! Our room was on the ground floor close to the ice machine and pop machine. The complimentary breakfast was delcious with something for everyone. Housekeeping is done daily. Our room was spacious with a cook top, mini fridge, microwave, small bathroom and a balcony we were not expecting. The check in process was very smooth and I was able to check out from my room and let the hotel know what time we would be leaving. You can find everything you need within walking distance. The beach is 13 minutes away. Perfect hotel for the city! Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future"
