No reasonable upper limit was set to protect guests. - I had a garden view room and the door and screen were consistently off their track making it hard to open and close - the family pool service attendants were reactive and didn’t ask us what we wanted until after we went up to the attendant stand - similarly...

"Good views of the area, not too to far from highlights like Palm Spri gs downtown and Joshua Tree. There were ALOT of pool lounges that were empty but were on a fee basis. Not cool"

"Shadow Mountain is one of the older developments in Palm Desert, dating originally from 1946. Its main pool is an iconic landmark and much of resort space is devoted to tennis courts. Its location adjacent to El Paseo is great, so all the best shopping and dining is just a walk away. Look very carefully at any unit you wish to rent as they are individually owned and the updates (or lack thereof) will be highly variable. We stayed in a Creekside unit which was well away from the tennis courts...
