"We spent 3 weeks here and loved every minute of it. There's a lot of room with a proper well fitted kitchen which we much appreciated because we mostly cook for ourselves. However La Chapelle has a number of really good restaurants so every now and then we had an evening off and ate out. The uninterupted view from the main living room is the Cret Beni, which is so beautiful. We plan to return next year, if by then the two camp beds in second bedroom have been replaced it would take the score...

"We are a large family of mixed ages and skiing abilities. After trying to find a chalet big enough for us we came across this one! Wow!! What an amazing place!! The VRBO listing really doesn’t do it justice! It is perfect. Literally next door to the Telecabin and the end of the main ski run basically ends in the back garden!! Ski hire 5 mins walk (intersport) and supermarket even closer. Free bus stops outside to take you to main part of the village or you can walk there in 10 minutes. The...

"We had a wonderful time in this cosy, rustic chalet with impeccable views. It was great for two families and had everything we needed. Only things to watch out for are head heights - there are lots of low level ceilings and so not great for very tall people and lots of steep steps so not brilliant if you have any mobility issues at all. However for a stay very near to the Croix Fry lifts, easy ski hire, slopes, cross country ski and delightful walks it was perfect."

"My husband, myself, our adult son, and 3 mother couples enjoyed a lovely vacation at Chalet Shiraz. Every couple had their own room with a king size bed (or 2 singles) and an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped to accommodate our large group and there was plenty of seating around the dining table as well as on the comfortable living room furniture. The only drawback to Chalet Shiraz is the steep hill up from the main road. We were lucky to have snow on the mountain but no snow on the...
